The Store tab enables you to specify some store settings for the package, such as:
- Category - Customers use this to find specific packages in the Store. You must provide a category for your package.
- Override Display Price - This enables you to override the calculated store display price for the package.
- Limited Offer - This enables you to specify whether the package has a purchase limit.
- Store Availability - By default a package is published immediately, however you can set launch and removal dates for the package if required.
For the purposes of this tutorial we will set the category and make the package a limited offer.
To edit store settings
- Click the Store tab. The Store screen is displayed.
- Click Edit Store Settings.
- In the Category dropdown ("Please select a primary category..."), select "Cleaning & Maintenance". Our customers will use this to filter the Store list. You can add secondary categories if required, but for the purposes of this tutorial our package will have a single category only.
- Ignore the Override Display Price. If specified, this adds 'teaser' text that appears in the store. For example, "Limited Time Only" or "New Low Price!".
- Ensure 'Limited Offer' is ticked.
- For 'Number Available', enter 10.
- Ignore Store Availability. By default, the package is published immediately with no removal date. You can use this to either publish the package at a later date or publish the package for a limited duration.
- Ignore Related Packages. If specified, you can use this to associate up to 4 packages with the package to drive traffic to similar packages.
- Click Save.
In this step we limited the package sales to 10 after which time it is sold out/no longer available.
Depending on the pricing option you selected, your Store screen should look something like this:
