Once a customer has requested a quotation, you can specify the quotation price once you have determined what the quotation will be.
You enter the quotation on the package order Details screen and submit it to the customer. You must specify the following, depending on the package's pricing setup:
- Total Price - the price for the One Off fee.
- Total <recurring period, e.g. Monthly> - the price for the recurring fee.
- Quotation Comment - optional comment to customer, explaining the quote.
You can also add a Quotation Comment to accompany the quotation, to assist the customer with understanding the way the quotation charges have been derived, for example.
- Navigate to the Requests zone.
- Select the package order that requires a quote. Such orders have a status of "Quote Pending".
- On the package order details screen, enter the applicable quotation details in the Quotation Needed section:

- Click Update Quote.
The quotation is submitted to the customer for acceptance.
Once the quotation has been submitted, the customer's order details screen displays a notification containing the quote details. For example:

Updating a quote
After a quote has been submitted, you can subsequently update the amount providing the customer has not yet accepted the quote. If you update the quote, the customer is notified via email and the new amount(s) are displayed on the Order Details screen.
- Navigate to the Requests zone.
- Select the package order that you wish to update. Such orders have a status of "Quoted".
- On the package order details screen, update the quotation details as applicable.
- Click Update Quote.
The updated quote is submitted to the customer for acceptance.
Once the quotation has been updated, the customer's order details screen displays a notification containing the updated quote details.
The customer is also notified via email when a quote is updated, for example:
