The Component List screen is used to see components, based on the filters you select.
By default "Draft" components are displayed, as these are the components you're most likely to be working on at any given time. Use the filters to view other components by status. You can also filter the list by either component or supplier name to narrow your selection down. You can order the results by either Component Name (alphabetical) or Associated Packages (where components with the highest number of attached packages appears at the top. Ordering only applies to In Use components).
Each component listing displays the following:
- Component state (Draft, In Use, Retired)
- Component name
- Component code
- Component supplier reference (if specified)
- Component category
When a component is In Use, the number of packages the component is attached to is displayed (for example, '3 packages').
