Store

The following information can be specified for a package:

Categories

Customers use categories to browse the Store. You must specify at least one category for a package before you can publish it. Optionally, you can apply additional categories. NB. Only those categories which contain a package are displayed in the Store.

Catalog Categories are created in the Settings zone. For information on creating categories, see Catalog Categories.

To add a category to a package
  1. On the package details screen, click the Store tab.
  2. Click Edit Store.
  3. In the Category dropdown, select the primary category for the package. For example, "Food & Beverage". If the category you require is not in the list, you will need to create the category. See Catalog Categories for more information.
  4. If you wish to add additional categories:
    1. Click the Add secondary categories link. A lightbox is displayed.
    2. Tick the additional categories you wish to apply.
    3. Click Update to return to the Store screen.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

The following is an example of catalog categories as seen in the Store list (Customer Portal):

Override Display Price

This enables you to override the calculated store display price for the package. Enter a short description or price for the package. If left empty, the minimum calculated package price is displayed. For quotation packages, "Price available on quote" is displayed.

The following is an example of the Store list where a package price has been overridden (Customer Portal):

Limited Offers

This enables you to specify whether the package has a purchase limit, i.e. the maximum packages available before it is 'sold out' (unavailable for purchase).

The following is an example Limited Offer package (Customer Portal):

Store Availability

This provides some basic campaign management. By default a package is published immediately, however you can set launch and removal dates for the package if required:

  • Launch - A future launch date can be chosen. The package will not be available in the store until this time has been reached. If 'Immediately' is chosen as the launch date, then the offer will be available in the store as soon as the package is published.
  • Remove - A future remove date can be chosen. After this point in time the package is not available for purchase (although it may still be viewed in the store through historic URLs).

Related Packages

You can also add up to four other 'related' packages to the package. These related packages are displayed to the customer when they view the package details. It can be a means of attracting additional sales and drive traffic to similar packages the customer may also like.

To add a related package
  1. On the package details screen, click the Store tab.
  2. Click Edit Store.
  3. In the Select a Related Package dropdown, select a package and click Add Package. You can add packages which are in a Draft state, however these will not be displayed to the customer.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

The following is an example of a related package associated with a package:
