Editing a Published package
| There are other options if you wish to change the components or pricing for a Published package. If there have been no purchases against the package, you can return it to a Draft state and then update its components and pricing. Otherwise, you can copy the original package, make changes to the copy as you require then publish it as a replacement package. You can then remove the original package from the store. |
Editing a "Published" package is useful if you need to make minor tweaks to your package, such as correct spelling errors or improve the copy of your marketing text for example.
You can edit the following for a Published package:
- Content tab
- Name
- Tagline
- Summary
- Image
- Important Information
- Detailed Description.
- Store tab
- Category
- Override Display Price
- Current Promotion
- Store Remove date
- Related Packages
- Processing tab
- Order Email Recipients
- Raise Requests Against Package flag
- What's Next text
- Terms and Conditions
You cannot edit the components or pricing for a Published package.
NB. When editing an "Published" package, be aware that the editing any of the package details affects all past and future package purchases. We recommend that any edits are restricted to grammatical errors such as spelling mistakes and label changes.
