You can copy an existing package regardless of its state (draft, published, retired).
The newly copied package is set to Draft' with a default name of "Copy of <original package name>". NB. The package name may be truncated if it is too long. All other aspects of the original package are copied to the new package, including its components and pricing.
Once you copy a package, you can then make changes to it as you require.
To copy a package
- Navigate to the Catalog zone.
- Click on the Packages tab.
- On the Packages list screen, use the search filters to locate the package you wish to copy.
- Select the required package.
- On the Package Details screen, click the Copy link. For example:
- A confirmation pop-up is displayed. Click "Yes" to proceed.
A copy of the package is created in a Draft state.
