Cancelling an Unsuccessful Order

If a component order reaches a status of "Unsuccessful", then the package order cannot be completed and needs to be manually cancelled. Package orders which contain an Unsuccessful component order also have a status of Unsuccessful.

To cancel an Unsuccessful order

NB. A package order must have a status of "Unsuccessful" in order for this task to work.

  1. Navigate to the Requests zone.
  2. In the Requests list, select the "Unsuccessful" package order to be cancelled.
  3. On the Package Order Request details page, click Cancel Order.
  4. A Cancel Order screen is displayed. Enter the reason for the cancellation. This is displayed to the customer as a comment.
  5. Click Submit.

The Package Order is set to "Cancelled".

Cancellation orders (with a status of New) are created for all component orders which were not "Unsuccessful". These cancellation orders are used to notify suppliers/third party systems that the package has been cancelled.
